This floor was tiled using a
multicolored
porcelain
floor tile
in a pinwheel
pattern.  The pinwheel
pattern adds style to this
floor tile installation.
This floor was tiled using
a 16" x 16"
limestone tile
with a 1" x 6" brick
slate
tile
border and enhanced
with a sealer.  The larger
size of this floor tile also
makes the room appear
larger and creates less
grout joints.
This slate tile
was installed
in a brick
pattern and
enhanced
with a sealer.
The vertical
brick pattern
that the tile
installer used
on this floor
really opens
up the room.
This flooring tile consists of a polished
travertine tile
installed in a versaille pattern.
The versaille pattern gives a very elegant look to
this tile floor.
This floor was tiled
using a
slate tile.
The flooring tile
was then
enhanced using a
stone tile enhancer
sealer.  We used
1/8" grout joints to
keep the tile install
looking very
professional.
Floor Tile has been installed for thousands of years.  It's longevity can be attributed to durability, elegance, water resistance, and ease of maintenance.  Ceramic, porcelain, and stone
tile surfaces are both practical and beautiful.  Tile flooring not only protects surfaces, but tends to do a good job of hiding dirt.  The making of floor tiles has come a long way in the recent
past creating a wide spectrum of design possibilities and higher quality products.  There are many more colors, sizes, and types of tile to choose from than there were a decade ago.
The materials used to install tile, tile sealers, grout, and the floor tile itself.  The different designs and possibilities can transform your space into elegance.  Our tile installation photos
show an array of tile floors including ceramic floor tile, porcelain floor tile, slate floor tile, and limestone or travertine floor tile.
When choosing between types of floor tile for your tile installation project there are may things to consider besides the physical appearance of the tile.  You want to make sure to choose
a tile with the proper durability to match the demands of the surface it is being applied to.  In a high use area like a kitchen floor you will want to choose a very durable tile in case of an
occasional dropped heavy pot or pan.  There are also safety considerations.  To prevent people from slipping in entryways, bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas that are prone to
getting wet you may want to choose floor tiles with a textured surface.  Maintenance is another item to consider when selecting tile floors.  White ceramic floor tile and white grout is very
nice when meticulously kept clean,  but shows a lot more dirt than an earth tone floor tile and grout if not kept clean.  Most stone tile is extremely durable and tends to hide dirt and pet fur
well, but can require periodic resealing.
